Now yes they do have weapons which I know some parents may not like but you can remove them and just have them battle each other by bumping into each other. I think it gives them an extra touch that adds to the fun! I admit I like the little weapons too, they are super cute. The pieces of the Arena also snap together easier than the original HEXBUG tracks. If you want you can expand your Arena with more pieces or just keep this bridge! Honestly I like these HEXBUGs better than the original ones because of the size and the LED lights. I actually was surprised at the Battle Arena platform as I thought there was just the two bugs in the package. I received the HEXBUG Warriors Battle Arena which comes with two Battling Robots and a small Battle Arena. My boys had an absolute blast with these! You can buy the sets in single packs of bugs, with a Battle Arena, or a Battle Stadium.
